One of Uganda’s top musicians Edrisa Musuuza commonly known as Eddy Kenzo  decided to hand over his international awards  to the people of Uganda.The awards will be displayed at the Uganda museum. The accolades that the singer handed over include the BET (Best New Int’nl Act 2015), AFRIMA Award (Best Male Artiste East Africa 2017) and YouTube (Surpassing 100,000 subscribers).

“I want this to be in inspiration to all our young people and other musicians. This BET Award is to stay here at the Uganda Museum forever. It is for all Uganda. My only request is that people are allowed to take photos with it.”

“I acknowledge the acceptance by Uganda Museum to receive and keep these awards and I believe they are in safe hands of Government and they belong to the people of Uganda, i therefore encourage Uganda museum management that they allow people touch and feel them other than viewing them in the glass,” he added.

Eddy Kenzo has also just won the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award ‘Favorite African Entertainer’ 2018.
