The Rushegura family group,one of the  12 gorilla families at Bwindi Impenetrable national park,welcomed a new baby gorilla as of yesterday. This comes as good news after the recent births from Mubare group, the oldest gorilla family which welcomed 2 new baby gorillas last month. The mother and the baby are both reported to be in good health.

The Rushegura family was formerly part of the Habinyanja gorilla group. The family presently has approximately 19 members under the leadership of Kabukojo,a silver back.
