Day 1: Visiting Ssezibwa falls and Mabira forest for zip lining.

3 Days Jinja Safari & Adventure Tour - Outdoor Activities in UgandaAfter breakfast, meet the Ever Based tour driver who will transfer you to Jinja with a stopover at ssezibwa waterfalls. The resident tour guide will show you around, visiting an area with many shrines where cultural rituals are performed at the top of the Ssezibwa falls. People may camp for days as they seek blessings and the removal of ancient curses by traditional doctors. For an avid bird watcher there is the opportunity to espy some of the common and rare species of birds.

After you will proceed to Mabira Forest Canopy Super Skyway for zip-lining, the first of its kind in Uganda. This “zip-line” system, at the griffin falls camp, traverses you through ancient trees led by experienced Sky Captains across a network of 5 zip-lines across River Musamya. In the canopy, one can enjoy a view of the forest layers; mammals like grey cheeked mangabeys and red tailed monkeys, and birds like palm nut vultures, African fish eagles and great blue turacos.

The hike back takes you past Griffin Falls where optional activities like mountain biking can be carried out. Have lunch and proceed to Jinja for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.
