You will be based by two major cities, Nairobi and Mombasa, for four days each. 8 Days Kenya Bush & Beach safari

Day1 : Arrive Nairobi in the Morning

You’re picked up and transferred to your hotel for check-in. In the afternoon visit a conservation centre for the Rothschild giraffe.

Day2 :Nairobi-Maasai Mara

After breakfast, we depart for the Maasai Mara with a stop-over at a prolific rift valley view point. We then continue to descend to the rift valley floor to arrive at your camp, followed by an evening game drive.

8 Days Kenya Bush & Beach safariDay3 : Maasai Mara

In the morning we visit the nearby catholic church for mass. You can relax in the afternoon before an evening game drive at the world renowned game reserve famous for the enormous big cats.

Day4 : Maasai Mara-Nairobi

Today begins with a visit to the Maasai Cultural Manyatta and then we return to Nairobi with game drives en-route. {The cultural tour is payable direct}. Arrival in Nairobi is in the Evening.

Day5: Nairobi-Mombasa

We will leave early for Mombasa Diani (0600Hrs). Check-in at Bahari Dhow Villas (furnished self-catered villa} in the evening. The driver will organize for you to do your food shopping at Nakumatt Diani. You can hire a cook in advance to prepare your meals or dine at the restaurants or resorts in Diani.

NB: A refundable deposit of $100 equivalent to Kes 10,000 is required at the villa on check-in as per the policy refundable during check-out just to ensure the villa is left in good condition.

Day6: Diani Beach

Spend today day relaxing at the beach; meals on your own accord. The driver will be on standby in case you require to step out and tour around e.g. dine at the famous cave restaurant in Diani or enjoy a drink at the forty thieves bar.

Accommodation: Bahari Dhow Villas

Day7: Diani-Shimoni-Wasini Island Dhow Cruise

Depart at 07:00 for an exciting adventure south at Wasini island. Visit the Shimoni caves, famous for the slave trade, embark on a Swahili dhow cruise in the Indian ocean waters for a snorkeling experience, swimming or dolphin sighting. Then enjoy lunch on the island before the return trip to the mainland where you will be transferred back to your cottage.

Day8: Diani-Mombasa International Airport

Bid Diani goodbye and depart for the airport in good time for your flight back home with many great memories to take back home.

Visa requirements for Uganda

With effect from July 1, 2015, visa fees for entry into Uganda were revised as follows:

Diplomatic Visa                   No fee

Please note:

All visa applications must be submitted online. Paper applications will not be processed and may result in delays.

Visa applications for holders of passports:

  1. Submit an online application here.
  2. Your passport must have been valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel and for 6 months after your expected departure from Uganda.
  3. You will need to submit a money order for the correct visa from the list above.
  4. You will need to submit a letter of invitation/introduction if you are travelling for business.
  5. You are required to present an international inoculation certificate against yellow fever at the point of entry in Uganda.
  6. Please enclose a prepaid, self-addressed UPS, FEDEX, DHL,USPS Priority or Express return envelope with your application. Regular envelopes are not accepted.

Visa applications for holders of travel documents

Holders of travel documents (not passports) issued by the U.S. Immigration Department to refugees are required to submit the following in addition to the above requirements.

  1. An invitation from the host legally residing in Uganda.
  2. A letter obtained by the host from the local authorities (e.g. Local Council Chairman) confirming he/she resides in that locality.
  3. A copy of the host’s photo ID such as a drivers licence, national ID card or passport.
