3 Days Murchison Falls Safari: Watch in amazement as the Nile bursts forth and crashes an incredible 43 metres down into ‘the Devil’s Cauldron’ during this three day trip through Murchison Falls National Park.
Visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and watch these magnificent giants thrive in their natural environment. Playing host to a wide variety of animals, a game drive through the park and an afternoon boat cruise will offer you sights of lions, leopards, elephants and so much more.

3 Days Murchison Falls safari – 2 nights wildlife encounters in Uganda
Day 1 – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking. From there, you drive to Masindi for lunch before proceeding to Murchison Falls National Park with a visit to the top of the falls with a stop for photos and sightseeing.

Day 2 – Morning drive and boat cruise
After breakfast, you cross the ferry to the north of the Park for an early morning three hour game drive. Paraa is rich in lions, buffaloes, elephants, various antelopes, leopards and giraffes, and the river delta houses hippos, crocodiles and the rare shoebill stock.
You then drive back to the lodge for lunch before embarking on the afternoon boat cruise to the base of the falls where many water and land animals can be sighted; buffaloes, elephants, crocodiles and many water birds.

Day 3 – Murchison Falls National Park – Kampala
Wake up at your leisure, have breakfast and finally return to Kampala.

Visa requirements for Uganda
With effect from July 1, 2015, visa fees for entry into Uganda were revised as follows:

❭❭ Multiple Entry Visa US$100
❭❭ East Africa Tourist Visa US$100
❭❭ Government Officials No fee
❭❭ Diplomatic Visa No fee
Please note:
All visa applications must be submitted online. Paper applications will not be processed and may result in delays.
Visa applications for holders of passports:
- Submit an online application here.
- Your passport must have been valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel and for 6 months after your expected departure from Uganda.
- You will need to submit a money order for the correct visa from the list above.
- You will need to submit a letter of invitation/introduction if you are travelling for business.
- You are required to present an international inoculation certificate against yellow fever at the point of entry in Uganda.
- Please enclose a prepaid, self-addressed UPS, FEDEX, DHL,USPS Priority or Express return envelope with your application. Regular envelopes are not accepted.
Visa applications for holders of travel documents
Holders of travel documents (not passports) issued by the U.S. Immigration Department to refugees are required to submit the following in addition to the above requirements.
- An invitation from the host legally residing in Uganda.
- A letter obtained by the host from the local authorities (e.g. Local Council Chairman) confirming he/she resides in that locality.
- A copy of the host’s photo ID such as a drivers licence, national ID card or passport.
