10 Days Uganda safari – Gorilla & wildlife tour
Day 1
You land at Entebbe airport on the shores of Lake Victoria. Your company representative at the arrival waiting area will brief you about Uganda and the safari before transferring to Murchison falls National Park that is if you arrive early in Uganda.

DAY 2
After breakfast we go on an early morning game drive to see animals on the prowl. We then have a 3 hour afternoon boat cruise along the Nile to the bottom of Murchison falls. Animals likely to be seen; hippos, crocodiles, antelopes and elephants amongst others.

Day 3
We begin with a game drive for creatures missed on the previous drive and after depart Murchison Falls for Kibale National park, primate capital of the world.

Day 4
You head to the information centre at 8:00AM and start your journey in Kibale forest to trek chimpanzees, baboons, birds, butterflies and many plants. After lunch in the late afternoon you can bird watch in the Bigodi wetland.

Day 5
Depart Kibale for Queen Elizabeth park in time for lunch. Then take a unique boat cruise on the Kazinga channel where you can see hippos, crocodiles, birds and elephants. You can go for a night game drive for nocturnal animals like hippos and leopards.

Day 6
Leave for a morning game drive on the Kasenyi track. Animals to be viewed include lions, leopards, giant forest hog, cape buffaloes, elephants, Defenssa, Water bucks, Uganda kob, many more. You will also visit the Ishasha sector to search for the tree climbing lions.

Day 7
Depart Queen Elizabeth park for Bwindi Impenetrable park, a biodiverse, mountainous area in South West Uganda. It’s home to much of the worlds mountain gorillas population, as well the other big ape; chimpanzees. ( PERMITS NOT INCLUDED IN THE COST)

Day 8
Journey to the information centre for a briefing. At 8:30AM, begin the trek for Mountain Gorillas which can last 1-9 hours. Enjoy an hour with the gorillas as they feed and play and then n the evening, depart Bwindi for Lake Mburo; a 5 to 6 hours journey via Mbarara.

Day 9-10
Wake up early for a morning game drive in this park. On the safari, expect to see zebras, giraffes, eland, Uganda cobs, topis, duikers, giraffes and more. After lunch, go for a boat cruise along Lake Mburo. Here you will see different aquatic wildlife and birds.
After, you will depart Lake Mburo national park for Kampala for an overnight stay or for Entebbe to catch up with your flight.

Visa requirements for Uganda
With effect from July 1, 2015, visa fees for entry into Uganda were revised as follows:

❭❭ Government Officials No fee
❭❭ Diplomatic Visa No fee
Please note:
All visa applications must be submitted online. Paper applications will not be processed and may result in delays.
Visa applications for holders of passports:
- Submit an online application here.
- Your passport must have been valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel and for 6 months after your expected departure from Uganda.
- You will need to submit a money order for the correct visa from the list above.
- You will need to submit a letter of invitation/introduction if you are travelling for business.
- You are required to present an international inoculation certificate against yellow fever at the point of entry in Uganda.
- Please enclose a prepaid, self-addressed UPS, FEDEX, DHL,USPS Priority or Express return envelope with your application. Regular envelopes are not accepted.
Visa applications for holders of travel documents
Holders of travel documents (not passports) issued by the U.S. Immigration Department to refugees are required to submit the following in addition to the above requirements.
- An invitation from the host legally residing in Uganda.
- A letter obtained by the host from the local authorities (e.g. Local Council Chairman) confirming he/she resides in that locality.
- A copy of the host’s photo ID such as a drivers licence, national ID card or passport.
