关于此行程
This 5-day safari recognises that Bwindi's story is not only about gorillas — it is also about the Batwa people, who lived as forest hunter-gatherers for millennia before conservation resettlement. After a morning gorilla trek through the Impenetrable Forest, you spend two dedicated half-days with Batwa elders and youth. Watch a bow-and-net hunting demonstration, learn to identify the medicinal plants they once harvested from the forest floor, join a fireside storytelling session accompanied by traditional thumb-piano music, and visit a community pottery workshop. A portion of your tour fee goes directly to a Batwa education trust, so the cultural exchange carries tangible impact. The balance of the itinerary includes a forest nature walk to spot L'Hoest's monkeys and Albertine Rift endemics, plus comfortable lodge stays with views across the Bwindi valleys.
